Dear Reader

It's official.

The People of the Prana are alive and breathing!

The website is finally up and I invite you to check it out!

My name is Esther. For those who know me, you know I've been working in the mental health and wellness field for 25 years.

What that means is that I've seen MANY health trends come and go. This is why I can confidently say that:

breathing is here to stay.

Breathing is your gateway to calm, energy, creativity, connection, and joy – everything you need for a good life. It has profound positive effects on your mental and emotional well-being.

People of the Prana was founded because stress and anxiety are the main issues of these times, and breathing is a simple, accessible, and effective solution for everyone. You don’t have to go away to some fancy yoga retreat in Costa Rica to find calm (although this is nice), you can learn to breathe through the chaos (especially the kind that is in your own mind!)

I have been teaching breathwork alongside my clinical psychotherapy practice and seen dramatic shifts when people commit to a daily practice. When the pandemic started it became clear to me that therapy, although useful, was not sustainable for the level of collective panic and stress that ensued. We needed something more.

During this time I started teaching breathing online. This transformed into a beautiful community and a wonderful early morning practice at 6:30am called Wake Up & Breathe.

And we're still breathing together, 2,000 days later!

I want to make it as easy as possible for you to learn how to breathe so I have created a method and system of teaching you how.

People of the Prana offers exciting live and pre-recorded online courses that are launching soon (visit the website to find out)!

My mission is that learning to breathe becomes part of everyone’s core curriculum for doing life.

(Imagine what the world would be like if we all made time to breathe together. Imagine if these skills were taught to kids in kindergarten alongside reading and writing.)

We are all in this life together, so we need ways to come together.
