What are you showing up to?

Beautiful Breathers!

When we first started waking up at 6:30 AM to breathe together, some people told me it was too hard. I didn’t believe them. And sure enough, they showed up anyway. Then they did it again. And again.

Now, FOUR years later, the 6:30 AM Breathing Club—aka Wake Up & Breathe—is still going strong.

I am beyond proud of this incredible group of beings who have committed to sharing this practice with me. Your trust, your discipline, and your presence are gifts that I hold with deep gratitude.

The Power of Early Morning Practice

Long before the book, The 5 AM Club became popular, the yogis spoke of Sadhana—the sacred practice of rising before the sun to meditate and attune to the higher frequencies of the universe. The early morning hours (4-7 AM) are said to be infused with the ambrosial nectar of the gods, when the veil is thin, the subconscious mind is most active, and prayers are amplified.

It makes sense that how we begin our day determines the clarity, focus, and presence we bring into everything—mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Each weekday morning, when we choose to Wake Up & Breathe, we choose to return to the essence of life itself.

We remember:
☀️ Who we are.
☀️ Our purpose.
☀️ That each day is a gift and our offering is how we show up to it.

How do you show up?

Many believe that feeling good is our birthright, that it should come effortlessly. But like breath itself, life can either be unconscious—automatic, just going through the motions—or it can be intentional, awake, and fully lived.

Both require energy. But generate different results.

I invite you to ask yourself:

📝 What are you showing up to consistently in your life?

(Take a moment to journal before continuing...)

📝 And how do you do so? (What is your attitude, your beliefs, your behaviors?)

The secret is:

What you show up to consistently becomes your habits—whether those are thoughts, emotions, or actions.

And how you show up shapes the quality of your experience.

Through this practice, we learn that there are many ways to show up. We practice showing up even when it is hard and we don’t want to. We learn the power of setting our mind to an intention and keeping with it. We learn that we are so much more than we think we are.

For those curious, we offer a one-week free trial—come drop in and experience it for yourself.

Think of Wake Up & Breathe as a giant pajama party for your soul, setting you up for the day ahead.

Updates & Exciting News

These last four years have been a journey of deep transformation—not just within our practice, but also in my personal life. Between moving, taking on the enormous project of renovating the SEED Lodge, and creating a sanctuary for future gatherings, much of the People of the Prana digital content took a backseat.

But I’m back.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been refining Begin with Breath, bringing together years of wisdom into a polished online course, manual, and recorded content. The website is getting a fresh revamp, and I’m excited to share this work with those who need it most—burnt-out health professionals, overwhelmed souls, and anyone seeking a return to balance.

Through my work as a therapist, one thing remains clear:
So many people are not breathing.
They don’t realize how something so simple—so automatic—can have such a profound impact on their entire well-being. These teachings are so important.

But those of you who have been on this journey… you know. You’ve felt the magic. You’ve experienced the shift.

So, I invite you to join me:
